ARTsmart’s popular ARTfeast Edible Art Tour takes place during Santa Fe’s best time of the year! More than 35 galleries will participate from 5 to 8 pm on Friday in the downtown Plaza and Saturday on Canyon Road. Peruse the city’s best galleries with food and drink provided by top restaurants and caterers. And all ticket proceeds benefit ARTsmart programs for the youth of New Mexico. It’s a feast for the eyes and the palate!

Aleta has found the emotional attachment to desert environs is now expressing into her paintings, showing up as color, freedom and energetic movement.

Santa Fe Art Week launches its annual event July 12th - 21st. As part of the festivities, Pippin Contemporary will participating in the Canyon Road Art & Wine Crawl on July 17th with Honoro Vera red wine from Garnache Vineyards of Calatayud situated high on the hillsides, where, despite the poor gravelly soil, the old gnarled vines produce the finest grapes possible in this arid and desolate region. Only the ripest clusters are chosen, thus producing a wine of considerable depth and finesse. The wine exudes intense aromas of sweet cherries and dark plums with an exotic spicy finish reminiscent of white pepper. This delightful wine will be coupled with Chocolate Maven's delectable almond fudge brownies.

Also the closing reception for Pippin's solo exhibition, Landscapes of the Mind, with other artists participating. Join us for a fun evening and a walk up the delightful Canyon Road.

This year, as part of the Santa Fe Art Week, Pippin will have the closing reception for her solo exhibition "Landscapes of the Mind" on Wednesday, July 17th, 4-7pm. Aleta's closing coincides with Canyon Road Art & Wine Crawl, so we will be serving Honoro Vera red wine from Garnacha Vineyards of Calatayud  and Chocolate Maven’s delectable almond fudge brownies.
