Santa Fe artist Rebecca Haines releases a new body of abstracted animal paintings for her solo show, Color Me Curious, opening May 22nd at Pippin Contemporary. New paintings reveal Haines’ artistic evolution and experiences over the past year while continuing to express the artist’s resonance with wild animals as spiritual beings. Abstract mark making, meandering lines and loose color fields are consistent to her aesthetic, yet the work evolves with new cultural inspiration and more complex color palettes.
